AAFC Disability Enjoy Unbeaten Day

On Sunday the 21st October the Annan Athletic FC Disability side took part in the second round of their SFA Disability football league games. Annan Athletic won League 1 last year and their subsequent promotion took them into the Championship.

The match day gave the team a chance to have a go at the rest of the teams in the championship. Following promotion Round one was a very steep learning curve for the guys but some learning came from the hard knocks and they carried these into the second round and put them straight to good use.

Moving the ball much faster and being far more aggressive the players had five hard fought games played throughout the day. The team Annan came away with three wins and two draws to end their day undefeated.

It was a fantastic team effort with some outstanding play coming from goalkeeper Joseph Cattermole. He had a blinder of a day keeping the team in the hunt in most of the games with saves that some premiership keepers would have been proud of. Well played Joseph.
