New Signing – Charlie Albinson

Annan Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Charlie Albinson on a deal until the end of this season.

The 29-year-old shot stopper is the first player to sign for Annan Athletic in the January transfer window, after leaving Hamilton Academical last summer. 

Charlie came through the youth ranks at Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers before moving north of the border where Charlie spent three years at Ayr United before moving to Hamilton Accies in 2024.

On the signing, Manager Wullie Gibson said, “Coming into this window I was looking at strengthening certain positions to improve the squad and I feel the signing of Charlie does this.”

“He has good experience playing at a higher level and I’m delighted that he’s agreed to join us for the rest of the season.”!
