Connolly joins the Black & Golds after spending the past few weeks on trial at Galabank and has impressed the coaching staff to earn his contract.

Lennon is an attacking midfielder who came through the youth ranks at Queen’s Park and made his first team debut for the Spiders at just 16 years old.

In 2023 he earned international recognition, featuring for the Scotland U17 squad that travelled to Hungary for the European Championship.

Whilst with Queens Park, Lennon had a loan spell with Bo’ness Unites before leaving his childhood club to sign with Arbroath last summer. Lennon gained more valuable experience with another loan spell at Gala Fairydean before signing with Clyde in January.

Everyone at Annan Athletic welcomes Lennon to Galabank.
