Arthur hangs up his gloves
Last season’s number one Kenny Arthur has decided to call it a day and retire from playing.
Kenny joined the club last summer and played a major part in the team enjoying their best season in the league.
As well as taking the number one shirt on match day he has been very influential in coaching the younger keepers too.
Jim Chapman commented, “Kenny just felt it was too much and one of the biggest compliments we can have is for someone with his experience to turn round and say last season was one of the most enjoyable he has had in his career. We wish him all the best and although he’s hanging up the playing gloves, he has a lot to offer the game on the coaching front.”
