Battling Annan go down to near neighbours.

Annan Athletic travelled the short distance to Dumfries to take on local SPFL Championship side Queen Of the South in the first round of the SPFL League Cup. Although putting in a solid and credible performance the Black and Golds were unable to recover after the 58th minute sending off of defender Peter Watson and lost 3 quick fire goals after this.
