Business Plan Unveiled

Building on from our previous success on the field, the club have established a Business plan to support future success both on and off the pitch.

The document makes clear our club’s vision to progress further up the SPFL pyramid system, as well as deepening our impact in the community.

It includes improvements to Galabank – to be phased over a number of years – while ensuring our fan-owned club’s finances are managed responsibly and prudently.

The business plan has been released in line with our recently opened landmark community share offer, with an initial aim of raising £100,000 over the next month. You can read more details about that here.

It has four key pillars which demonstrates the club’s ambitions for greater success and sustainability. The club aims to:

  • Strengthen its financial base to compete effectively in League One (and beyond), including targeting the play‐offs and promotion.
  • Work with and expand women’s football, youth, junior, walking football, and disabled participation football by integrating all into the ‘One Club’ / ‘100% Fan-owned Model’.
  • Re‐commit to community and social development initiatives.
  • Maintain democratic fan ownership where each member holds one vote, regardless of shareholding size.

The full Annan Athletic Business Plan can be read below. The club will be holding a Q&A session dedicated to the business plan and other club business outwith the Special General Meeting as part of regular board updates, this will be finalised in due course.
