Club Update

The club are pleased to announce the following appointments to the clubs board and integral positions within the club.

Ian McLatchie and Henry McClelland have joined the clubs board to fill the two vacant positions that were available. Ian joins the board bringing a vast wealth of knowledge from the commercial and hospitality industry. Henry rejoins the board having previously served the club as board member and former Chairman.

Joining Ian and Henry is Debbie Young who has now taken on the role of Club Treasurer. Debbie is no stranger to the club as both her twin boys Harry and Archie have came through the clubs youth system with Goalkeeper Archie now in the first team squad.

Club Board member Susan Bryson has now stepped into the role of Club Secretary. Susan has been on the board for a number of years and now takes on the important and integral role, supporting manager Wullie Gibson as well as dealing with SPFL and SFA business.

Susan succeeds former Secretary Philip Jones who recently stepped down from the clubs board. Philip served the club for many years as Chairman twice and laterally Secretary. The club would like to place on record its thanks to Philip for his selfless dedication over a number of years. We would like to wish him a happy and healthy retirement with wife Irene and look forward to seeing him back at Galabank cheering the team on.

Finally, Chris Bell and Keith Drysdale have taken up the positions of Safety Officer and Deputy Safety Officer. Both have had there membership of the Football Safety Officer’s Association Scotland accepted and are now enrolled in the relevant courses. These important roles ensure the club remain complaint with the SFA in relation to our Bronze License.

The club are always on the look out for volunteers to get involved at all levels, if you feel you a have a skillset that the club could utilise or would like to volunteer then please contact Neil Irving at exec@annanathleticfc.com
