Fit 2 Work Programme

Annan Athletic are delighted to have teamed up with The Springboard charity to deliver the following programme

The Springboard Fit2Work programme delivers certificated qualifications:
World Host
Scottish Certificate for the Safe Service of Alcohol
Sports Leaders UK: Level 1
SFA Level 1 ‘E’: Early Touches
Sports Coach UK: Safeguarding and Protecting Children
Sports Injury Course Level 1
The programme also delivers fun and challenging employability workshops in an industry setting, including;
Team building & communication
Confidence & assertiveness
Time Management
Making presentations
CV building and Interview skills
Social media skills
Eating Out
Health and Safety
Grounds Maintenance
Healthy Living
Plus specialist industry insight experiences
A range of industry visits that offer the experience of
being the customer
A unique opportunity to meet and talk to staff already
working in the industry
Taking a look behind the scenes in: sports venues, hotels,
restaurants and attractions etc
The chance of work experience to experience and assist
at some home matches plus assist with various Annan
Athletic Community Programmes
Not everyone can be the next David Beckham or Gemma Fay but you could have a successful and
rewarding career in that exciting world within stadium – hospitality, coaching, ground-keeping, PR,
or management.
What would Fit2Work mean to you?
This programme is for 18-26 year old unemployed people. It is based in Annan but open to all and
consists of ten weeks of training (starting on Monday 16th January) four days per week. The course
also gives the opportunity of work experience at matches and as a volunteer in order to gain a
