CONTRACT EXTENSION: Benjamin Luissint

Annan Athletic is delighted to announce that play off hero Benjamin Luissint has agreed a deal to stay at Galabank next season!

Benji, 24, enjoyed his first full season in professional football last year making 47 appearances in the Black & Gold shirt, scoring 5 goals along the way. The most memorable goals of the season coming in the final minutes of the play offs where Benji bagged double.

After signing the deal at Galabank Benji spoke to the media team, “I’m delighted to be an Annan player for another season. It has been a few weeks now that the decision was made as we agreed this deal before entering the playoffs. It was an easy decision to be honest as I really feel at home here since I arrived in the summer 2022. We have got a strong squad, we play nice football, and everything is made around the club for us to succeed thanks to great fans and all the people working around the club. The end of this season was magic! Those moments will forever stay with everyone. It is very unique to get a promotion and not many got the chance to live those kind of moments. Now time to rest for a few weeks. I’m looking forward to start pre season and competing in League One. Can’t wait to see you all in June.”

Luissint will now join the list of players contracted for next season…

Hooper, Galloway, Goss, Gibson, Johnston, Luissint.
