Contract Extension: Jack Purdue

The club is delighted to announce that Jack Purdue has agreed to sign at Galabank for the coming season!

Jack will be like a new signing coming into the squad after missing the majority of last season due to a terrible leg break.

After undergoing several operations Jack returned to light training at the end of last season and will continue to slowly build towards full fitness.

The 21 year old midfielder scored 2 goals in 5 appearances last season, including one against Hamilton in the League Cup.

Speaking to the website Jack said, “I’m obviously buzzing to be offered a new deal after the last 7/8 months I’ve had, I just can’t wait to get back into proper training and be back involved with everything.I’ve done a few light sessions before the end of last season but it’s not the same so hopefully when we go back for the new season I’m ready to go and prove myself, can’t thank the club enough for the support it’s given me since my injury and hopefully I can pick up where I left off and repay them for everything they’ve done for me.
