CONTRACT EXTENSION: Tommy Muir

Annan Athletic have reached an agreement with Tommy Muir that will keep the striker at Galabank next season.

26 year old Muir has now made over 100 appearances in Black & Gold, scoring 32 goals along the way.

“Tam” spent a large part of last season playing in defence to help cover with injuries, but will be keen to get back amongst the goals along with Tommy Goss in the new season.

Commenting on his decision to stay, Tam said “I’m honestly delighted to have signed on for the next 2 years. Everyone at the club makes it a special place to be and you could really feel that connection between players, staff, volunteers and supporters at the end of last season. A season that I’ll remember forever and one I won’t take for granted! Looking forward to having a right good go at league 1 and the ups and downs that will bring.”
