Contract Extension: Tony Wallace

The club is delighted to announce that Tony Wallace  has signed a contract extension to keep him at Annan Athletic for the coming season!

Wallace, 30, brings great experience to squad having played with previous clubs like Morton, Dumbarton and East Fife.

After returning to the club in March for a second spell,Tony has made a massive impact, scoring 5 goals in 12 appearances.

Speaking to the website Tony said, “ I’m excited to get back into it. I’ve really enjoyed both spells at the club and everything seems to fall into place. I enjoy working with the gaffer and the staff and everyone within the club so really looking forward to it. Hopefully I can continue where I left off this season and continue to contribute with goals but more importantly looking for the team to be successful. Having seen the play offs the last few weeks since our season finished it’s given me a real hunger to go and be successful not through play offs alone but to win things and hopefully everyone has the same ambitions to go and work hard for each other and have a successful season that ends in a promotion”
