Match Report

Queens Park lifted the points in this closely contested Development match at a rain swept Galabank on Tuesday evening.

There was very little between the teams with the only goal being scored in the 73rd minute by Billy Mortimer when he swept home a low shot from 10 yards.

Annan missed a golden opportunity to square the game when Josh Todd’s 76th minute spot kick was well saved by the Queens Park keeper. In the 86th minute Steven Logan was given a red card in sheer frustration for aiming a kick at one of the Spiders players who had been holding him back.

Annan now face a break in the Development League with the next game scheduled for Tuesday 20th January 2015 when they entertain Ayr United at Galabank kick of 7-30pm.
