Match Report

Annan are still seeking their first points in the SPFL Under 20 development league after they were defeated by Clyde at lesser Broadwood on Tuesday evening.

Clyde went ahead in the 15th minute when a Connor Lynass cross deflected off Ian Chisholm to give Gary Black no chance. The home team then doubled their lead in the 25th minute when following a corner the ball fell at the edge of the box to Paul Brown who hit a superb shot into the top corner of the net.

Annan started the second half promisingly and pulled a goal back in the 55th minute, David Hopkirk was prominent in the goal with a driving run into the box finishing with a low shot which cannoned off Josh Brown for another og. The game was sealed in the favour of the home team in the 78th minute and it was another spectacular effort scored by Fabio Capiano who hit a screamer from the corner of the 18 yard box into the top corner of the net.
