Gofitba In The Community

After a period of in activity due to the recent coronavirus the club were delighted to recently host another successful GoFitba camp in conjunction with Scottish Football Partnership (SFP).

GoFitba is an exciting football based health and wellbeing project for primary school kids delivered by The Scottish Football Partnership Trust in association with community football clubs. The 12 week project offers these children a platform for fun, physical activity and takes them on a weekly interactive educational journey to discover how they can stay active and lead a healthier lifestyle through diet and nutrition.

The programme is backed by Cashback Communities Scotland and supported by both the Scottish FA and Dumfries and Galloway council. Led by our community football coaches the participants had an enjoyable time on the pitch and an educational one off it thanks to Karen Robertson who is part of our First Team backroom staff but works for Dumfries and Galloway council.
