Head Of Youth Development-Announcement

Following an end of season meeting between the club and Head of Youth Development, Rowan Alexander, it was agreed that it was in the interests of both parties that Annan Athletic FC should look to appoint a new Head of Youth Development with immediate effect. This decision is due to the ever increasing workload and commitments associated with both the Club Academy Scotland programme and Rowan’s own business, Professionals Elite Academy,
Annan Athletic FC would like to formally thank Rowan for his efforts and contribution over the last two years, he has undoubtedly provided a high level of coaching to our youngsters, we wish Rowan well going forward and wish his business, Professionals Elite Academy, continues to grow from strength to strength.
In the meantime Jim Chapman will undertake the HOYD role and will be arranging the appropriate meetings with parents, coaches and players to discuss the way forward for the Club Academy Scotland (Annan Athletic’s Youth Development) programme for season 2014-15.
