Hooper Extends His Stay

Scott Hooper has agreed a new deal to keep him at Galabank for the season ahead!

The 29 year old defender is in his second spell with the Black and Golds, joining the club again from Kelty Hearts and helping us to promotion last summer.

Hooper missed a large spell of last season through injury but is looking to be ready for the start of the season.

“I am delighted and very thankful to have been offered a new contact at Annan” said Scott.

“Some clubs wouldn’t have gave me one with my injury last season but hopefully I can repay them this season and show them the same level of commitment they have shown me.

I’ve met with the doctor and physio recently and have been given the green light to start my rehab and strengthening programme, without any set backs I will hopefully be ready to go for near the start of the new season.”
