January loan deals

Annan Athletic would like to welcome back Lewis Strapp who played a vital role in the teams success in the first half of the season.

Lewis has signed until the end of the season and will come into the squad for Saturday looking to progress his career even further and push Annan Athletic higher.

The club are delighted to announce the loan signing of Goalkeeper Aidan McAdams from Rangers FC.

The 19 year old shot stopper started his football at Celtic at the age of 8 years old and has been scouted by several English clubs before recently making the move across Glasgow, signing a three year deal with Rangers.

We are also delighted to announce the loan extension of Kyle Bradley.

Bradley has been on loan from Rangers since September and has become an important player for Murphy’s side, showing his ability to play in both defence and midfield.

Manager Peter Murphy commented, As our squad starts to evolve after the opening of the January window we are delighted to extend Kyle Bradley’s loan until the end of the season giving Kyle the opportunity to play a number of first team games to aid his development. Kyle has excelled in our midfield and can acquit himself in a number of positions which will prove vital to a squad like ours.
Our first “new” loan signing is Aidan McAdams who is a player we have been chasing for a while. Aidan is one of the most promising young keepers in the country and has come to Annan to push Alex Mitchell for that coveted starting spot. We are really excited about what Aidan can bring to the squad and look forward to him helping us push on in the second half of the season.
