Josh Dixon Extends Stay

Annan Athletic are pleased to confirm that midfielder Josh Dixon has triggered the option to extend his contract, keeping him at Galabank for next season.

Dixon, 25, joined the Black and Golds from Carlisle United in June 2023 and has become an important part of Wullie Gibson’s squad.

Despite suffering an injury set back in his first season, Josh is now closing in on 100 appearances for the club and is currently enjoing his best season in front of goal with 7 goals so far this season.

Manager Wullie Gibson has been working hard to keep the nucleus of the squad together and we’re delighted that Josh will be part of the squad again next season as we look to build on this year’s progress.
