KDM Evolution Trophy Fixtures

The SPFL has today published the 2026/27 fixtures for the league phase of the KDM Evolution Trophy, which kicks off on Tuesday August 11.

Annan’s fixtures are as follows…..

Bonnyrigg Rose (Away) – Tuesday 11th August

Berwick Rangers (Home) – Tuesday 25th August

Motherwell B (Home) – Tuesday 8th September

Queen of the South (Away) – Tuesday 22nd September

Hibernian B (Home) – Saturday 26th September

Alloa Athletic (Home) – Tuesday 13th October

This season’s competition will see 10 guest clubs participate in an expanded 40-club league phase. A total of 120 games will be played over six matchdays, involving 10 William Hill League 1 clubs, 10 William Hill League 2 clubs, 10 guest clubs from the Scottish Highland Football League and the Scottish Lowland Football League East and West, and 10 William Hill Premiership B teams. The 22 highest-placed clubs will be joined by the 10 William Hill Championship clubs for the start of the knock-out stages.

Prize money has been maintained for this season meaning over £1.3 million will be shared with clubs, with the winners receiving £150,000, and the runners-up £100,000. Clubs progressing from the league phase will be guaranteed at least £30,000.

Fifteen-year-olds will again be eligible to participate in the competition, where youth prospects will play a minimum of six competitive matches against senior opposition.

Neil Doncaster, SPFL group chief executive, said: “We are pleased to announce the fixtures for the league phase of the season 2026/27 KDM Evolution Trophy.”

“After a successful first season of the new-look competition, we are hugely excited to welcome 10 guest clubs into our expanded tournament. We would like to thank KDM Group for their continued sponsorship of the competition as we prepare for the league phase commencing next month.”

Iain Jones, chief executive of KDM Group, said: “We are delighted to continue our support of the KDM Evolution Trophy this season, and look forward to the opening fixtures kicking off in August. We wish all clubs involved in the tournament the very best of luck.”

The league phase will conclude on Tuesday October 13, with the Round of 32 scheduled for November 3/4. The showpiece final will take place on either the weekend of March 27/28 or April 3/4.
