Loan Signing – Josiah Sowa

Annan Athletic is pleased to announce the signing of Josiah Sowa, joining us on loan from Queen’s Park until the end of the season.

The 19 year old forward joined up with the Annan squad at last nights training session and will go into the match day squad for the trip to Forfar this weekend.

Sowa, a Canadian national, joined Queen’s Park in 2024 and has made 10 appearances for the club. The talented youngster is known for his pace and technical ability in the final third.

Manager Wullie Gibson commented, “We’ve brought Josiah in because it’s an area that we feel needed strengthening following Timams injury. He joined us last night for his first session and will be available for selection on Saturday. Big thanks again goes to Sean at Queens Park.”

We look forward to seeing Josiah in the Black & Gold jersey!
