Manager Appoints Sports Scientists

Manager Wullie Gibson has added 2 Sports Scientists to his back room staff for next season.

Callum Graham and David Hasting will bring a new dynamic to the coaching staff at Galabank, maximising development and performance from the players in preparation for match days.

Callum is Annan born and raised. Callum’s involvement in the club spans back to playing for Annan Athletic youth teams from under 7s to under 17s!
Callum has completed his BSc Hons degree in Sport and Exercise Science at The University of Stirling.
Callum is now a self employed personal trainer locally in Annan based gym LActive.

“I’m delighted to be joining Annan Athletic for the coming season,” Callum commented. “With my experience in the fitness industry, I’m hoping to bring some fresh ideas to the club in the Sport Science department. I’d like to thank Wullie Gibson for the opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.”

David is originally from Stranraer, he studied at The University of Glasgow for his Sport and Exercise Science & Medicine (MSc), and is now studying for his Masters.
David has been in on placement with Motherwell Football Club so has had some great first hand experience in a football environment.


“I’m excited to join Annan Athletic’s new sport science team,” said David. There’s great opportunities opening up and plenty of ambition in the club. I’m looking forward to bringing a positive approach and helping the club strive towards their next achievement.”
