Queens Park lifted the points at a windswept Toryglen on Monday evening courtesy of a penalty two minutes into the second half after Dan Wadge upended William Mortimer and Dale Jones converted the spot kick .
Chances at both ends were few and far between, Rabine Omar came close in the 15th minute with a well struck shot from a Kieran Brannan cross. The Spiders came close when Lee Davidsons shot struck the cross bar in the 21st minute.
The second half started with the penalty kick but that apart there were few opportunities with both defences giving very little away. The defeat leaves Annan still looking for their first victory in the Development League.
Annan’s next match in the Development League is on Tuesday evening when they play Ayr United at Somerset Park on Tuesday 4th November evening kick off 7-30pm.
