McMenamin is no stranger to Galabank, having played for the club before back in 1999/2000 season before he earned himself a move to Newcastle United the following year.

The former striker and manager brings great experience of the game and will be a massive asset to the coaching staff

Peter Murphy commented,

“The introduction of Colin into our close knit environment is an excellent addition to the club. Last season we were defensively very solid, our goal scoring was something that needed to develop. Colin being a centre forward for many years will bring a wealth of experience to our younger strikers.

The added affinity Colin has with the club from a young age shows the progression we are trying to achieve in this community club.”

Colin added, “I’m delighted to be back where it all started for me. I can’t wait to get started and help the manager build a squad that can hopefully bring success to the club and the community.”

The club would also like to thank James Tose for his services during his short spell at Galabank.
