NEW SIGNING: Gio Clarke

The club is delighted to welcome new signing Gio Clarke to Galabank!

The 19 year old goalkeeper has spent some time with Wullie Gibson and the rest of the Annan squad during pre season and has looked impressive during his time as a trialist.

Gio has previously played with Cheadle Town and Boreham Wood and has spent 3 years being coached by The Modern Day GK Academy.

“As soon as I got the call it was a no brainer,” commented Gio.
“During my trial period it just felt right and after getting out there in front of the fans against Morton there was no question about where I wanted to be this season a top club with top lads and a top fan base.”
“I like to consider myself a ‘modern’ goalkeeper playing on the front foot coming for crosses and hopefully get an assist or two next season.”
“It’s a strong squad this year and I believe we can definitely win the league and thats something I can’t wait to be a part of.”
