NEW SIGNING: Max Kilsby

The club is delighted to welcome Max Kilsby back to Galabank!

After coming through the youth system at Carlisle United and signing his first professional contract at Brunton Park, Kilsby initially joined Annan on loan in July 2022 and became part of the historical side that won the clubs first league promotion.

During the promotion play offs, Kilsby scored 3 goals, including 2 against Clyde when he was named BBC ALBA Man of the Match.

After being named Young Player of the Year at Galabank, Max rejoined the club for a second loan spell at the start of last season.

In February 2024 Max joined Queen of the South on loan from Carlisle and spent the remainder of the season at Palmerston but was released by his parent club in the summer 2024.

Kilsby now signs on a permanent deal at Galabank for the season ahead.

Commenting on his move, Kilsby said,

“I’m really happy to be back. After speaking with the gaffer and playing in a few pre season games, I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen. Looking forward to a good successful season.”

Manager Wullie Gibson commented, “I’m looking forward to working with Max again. He’s got good attributes, knows the club well and had a good spell with us last time round. He’s still a young lad where confidence is a big thing and hopefully he’ll get that from the way myself and my staff work”
