NEW SIGNING: Max Kilsby

The club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Max Kilsby from Carlisle United.

The 18 year old defender joins the club on loan until January 2023 (subject to international clearance) and is already training with the squad ahead of the weekends league opener at Stranraer.

Max has been with the Cumbrian side since the age of 14 and recently secured his first professional contract at Brunton Park.

Speaking about Kilsby joining Annan, manager Peter Murphy said “Max is a real prospect in the Carlisle United ranks and we are delighted to welcome him to Annan Athletic. Unfortunately Matthew Douglas will be out for a long time so Max’s opportunity has come and we are delighted to welcome him into our group to push our defenders and improve our team.”
