New Signing: Tommy Goss

Annan Athletic is delighted to announce the signing of 23 year old striker Tommy Goss!

Tommy started his football career at Terregles Youths with moves to Normandy Star, Lochar Thistle and Abbey Vale before being scouted by Queen of the South where he was put to the test in the reserve squad at Palmerston.

Tommy earned himself a first team contract at the start of last season and he went on to make 15 appearances for the championship side.

After being released by Queen of the South at the end of last season, Manager Peter Murphy moved quick for the 6ft 2 forward.

Speaking of the move Tommy said, “I’m happy to sign with Annan as I spoke with the Peter Murphy  last year but I had the opportunity to go full time at that point. Once I heard from Peter again this year I knew I had my mind made up because I know he must like me as a player to come back in for me again.”
“The main thing for me this year is to play as many games as possible and help the team finish at the top end of the table where we should be, obviously I want to score as many goals as possible and try to get assists as well but as long as the team is winning that’s the priority.”
