Peter Murphy Makes First Signings

New manager Peter Murphy has made his first signings as Defender Scott Hooper and Striker Aidan Smith both signed on at the club after spending last season with SPFL Championship side Queen Of The South.

22 Year old defender Hooper can play at either right full back or in a central position and spent a period on loan at Queens Park during the 2015/2016 season.

Striker Smith needs no introduction to the Annan fans as he enjoyed a successful loan spell at Galabank last season scoring nine goals.

Goalkeeper Alex Mitchell has re-signed for the club after rejoining last season but departing the club is last seasons Supporters Player of the Year Blair Currie who has signed for Clyde FC.
