Paul Smith Contract Extension

We’re delighted to announce that Paul Smith has agreed terms with the club to keep him at Galabank next season.

The 23 year old midfielder joined the Black and Golds last summer from Ayr United, and despite a slight set back to his Annan career with a broken foot, Smith went on to make 33 appearances last season, scoring 5 goals along the way.

Commenting on his decision to stay, Paul said “It’s a great club where I thoroughly enjoyed playing last season. Everyone was very welcoming to not only me, but also my family as well.
I enjoyed playing under the coaching staff last season as well as playing alongside some of the best lads I’ve met in football, which in the end made the decision an easy one.”
