Scott McLean signs

The club is pleased to announce another new addition to the squad as Scott McLean agrees a deal to sign at Galabank.

The 21 year old forward started with Kilmarnock youths as a 15 year old and went on to make his professional debut with the club in a 2-2 draw with Celtic.

At 19 years old Scott was released and after a few trials south of the border he signed with Albion Rovers in League 1.

Last season McLean signed with Queens Park and made his Spiders debut at Galabank last August.

The manager commented on his latest signing,

“Scott is an excellent talent who I was interested in before last season. Scott brings goals from midfield and can play in numerous positions across the frontline giving us a variety of options in games to penetrate teams. He has a lot to prove and wants to play in higher divisions so has come to Annan to do that which is a testament to the boys and clubs ambitions.”
