Brannan joined the Black & Golds after coming through the youth academy at Motherwell. He made his debut for the first team at only 18, against Edinburgh City in the Premier Sports Cup.

Since leaving Fir Park, Brannan has gained valuable senior experience with spells at Broomhill and Glenafton, showing his energy and attacking intent down the flank.
