Todd Departs Galabank

Annan Athletic can announce the departure of midfielder Josh Todd.

The club can confirm that Josh has left by mutual agreement, allowing him to explore new opportunities.

Todd joined the club at the beginning of last season and has made over 70 appearances since he returned to the club for a second spell.

Manager Wullie Gibson said, “Toddy came to see me at the start of December and asked if we would allow him to leave if he could find a club closer to home. He had a change in job and it was proving difficult with the travelling and trying to find a balance. We’re all disappointed to see him move on as he’s a great lad and been a consistent performer but I also had to respect his wishes. He’s been a good friend of mine for a number of years and everyone at the club wish him all the best for his future. It’ll be a tough one to replace but the squad is taking shape after a difficult time with injuries earlier in the season and we’ll still look to strengthen this window.”
