Tommy Muir Extends ContraCt

Annan Athletic are delighted to announce that Club Captain Tommy Muir has agreed a new deal to keep him at Galabank for the next two seasons!

Muir becomes the first player of Wullie Gibson’s squad to commit his future beyond next season, and the captain is delighted to be staying at Galabank.
“I’m delighted to been staying with Annan for the next 2 seasons” said Tommy.

“It was a straightforward and easy decision to make after speaking with the gaffer. It’s a brilliant environment to be able to test yourself and develop as a player and thats exactly what I want in football. I’ve loved my 5 seasons here so far, Annan is a great club and I’m excited to be apart of it moving forward”

Manager Wullie Gibson commented, “I’m delighted that Tommy has committed to another 2 years at the club.
It’s important we start building towards next season and it’s a massive boost to me as the manager but also everyone connected to the club. Tam is a great leader on and off the pitch and is a consistent performer, someone who I can trust and has had a big contribution this season.”
