Tommy Muir And The Season Ahead

Annan Captain Tommy Muir is looking forward to the new league campaign kicking off this weekend as the team face the long journey north to face Cove Rangers.

This week the media team caught up with Tommy to get his thoughts on the season ahead.

“I’m really excited for the season opener on Saturday” commented Muir. “It’s mad how quick its came around. Cove away is a tough first fixture but myself and the boys are raring to go”

When asked about his expectations for the season, Tommy said, “We are aiming for progression on last season, a mid table finish, but hopefully with a couple of quality additions we can really push on and be in the fight for a promotion play off spot”

“Everyone’s really bought into the style of play and work ethic the gaffer and his staff have implemented so there’s no reason why we can’t do that”
