Tommy Muir Returns To Galabank

The club are delighted to announce that Tommy Muir has re-signed for the club. The former fans favourite scored 24 goals in a two season spell last time and the supporters will be looking for more goals during this spell.

Speaking about the move striker Tommy said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be back. I’m really looking forward to working under Peter and his staff again and just can’t wait to get started. I’m excited to play with some of my good friends again, it will also be extra special with it being Steven’s testimonial year.”

Manager Peter Murphy was delighted to get the deal done early: “We’re delighted to welcome Tam back to the club. His desire to return and battle it out with the strikers was there to see during the discussions. He wants to improve and he believes he has unfinished business at the club and that can only be a good thing for the squad.

“We know what Tam’s experience in this division is and this will certainly add to our goal tally next season.”

The striker returns to the club after leaving to join Stenhousemuir then spending last season at League Two rivals Stranraer.

Tommy joins Tony Wallace, Greg Fleming, Roan Steele, Dominic Docherty and Tommy Goss in committing his future to the club for the 2022/23 season.
