Volunteers Wanted: Help Shape the Matchday Experience at Galabank

Annan Athletic Football Club is inviting passionate and enthusiastic supporters to apply for two important volunteer roles at Galabank: Supporters Liaison Officer and Disability Access Officer.

These roles offer a fantastic opportunity for fans to play an active part in improving the matchday experience for everyone who visits Galabank, both home and away fans.

Make Your Voice Count

As a community club, we know that our supporters are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for volunteers who care about the fan experience and want to help ensure that every visit to Galabank is enjoyable, welcoming, and inclusive.

Whether you regularly attend home matches, travel away with the team, or simply want to make a positive contribution to the club, we would love to hear from you.

Supporters Liaison Officer

The Supporters Liaison Officer will act as a link between the club and its supporters, helping to:

  • Gather feedback from fans.
  • Improve communication between supporters and the club.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the matchday experience.
  • Promote supporter engagement and fan-led initiatives.
  • Help ensure supporter views are heard and considered.

This role would suit someone who enjoys engaging with people, listening to ideas, and helping create a positive atmosphere around the club.

Disability Access Officer

The Disability Access Officer will help ensure that Galabank remains accessible and welcoming for all supporters by:

  • Acting as a point of contact for disabled supporters and visitors.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve accessibility and inclusion.
  • Gathering feedback on facilities and matchday experiences.
  • Working with club officials to address access-related issues.
  • Helping ensure all supporters can enjoy football in a safe and welcoming environment.

This role would be ideal for someone who is passionate about equality, inclusion, and improving accessibility within the game.

No Previous Experience Required

You do not need previous experience in either role. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, approachable, reliable, and committed to helping improve the supporter experience at Annan Athletic.

Support and guidance will be provided by the club.

Interested?

If you would like to volunteer as either the Supporters Liaison Officer or Disability Access Officer, please get in touch with the club for an informal discussion.

Together, we can help make Galabank an even better place for supporters, visitors, and the wider community.
